Hi There! I guess you can’t do anything about that now… If I am in your position, I would have to move on with my life and find another job that will give another opportunity to show what I’ve got… Just think of this as a challenge in your part. And learn from your experience as well so next time, it will not happen again. GoodLuck. Happy Mylotting and Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

I am so sorry to hear that. You are young and there are many great opportunities waiting for you. I think it will be easy for you to find another good job soon. During this period, perhaps you can also try to find some part time job which you can do at home. This is the advantage of IT people. Good luck! I love China

Don't take it personally, I was laid off last month but life goes on. Get your resume updated and get it out there. Network with friends, former classmates, contacts from your school, put your resume online if that's possible where you are and keep trying until you find another job. You will eventually. Things like this happen in the working world often so that's why you should always have some money put away for emergencies if you can. Good luck!

As the first poster said, don't take this personally. A lot of companies are laying off workers because of the economic crisis and it has nothing to do with job performance. Companies understand that. The best thing that you can do is to update your resume and get out there on the job hunt. Tell all of your friends that are working that you're looking for a job. There may be opportunities where they work. Check with the college that you graduated from. Sometimes the career center gets opportunities from companies near the college. If you belong to any professional societies, contact them and the people that you know in the field. Did you work with any vendors? Check those companies. Get you resume out to every company that is a competitor of the company that you worked for. Oftentimes, companies look for new employees that have experience in the industry that they're in. Good luck to you.
