Can someone tell me if there are any companies that hire homeworkers

I would like to find a work at home job with an actual company that require no fees or investments. The companies I have checked out require high speed internet and where I live I can't get high speed, dsl, broadband, or satelite internet. Dial up is all that's available in my area. Are there any companies that offer home employment or that hire homeworkers as employees and not independent contractors? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

There are some but I don't know how many are actually legitmate. One I know about is
Alpine Access which is a work at home customer service type thing. You can also sign up for Genuine Jobs.com and Odesk. They both have online jobs you can do.

In current financial situation i don't know if any work from home options even available.
If any site is claiming to offer such positions do check their background information.
This will help utilize your valuable time in more constructive manner.
