This is a favourite quote by the christians. If it is true, why all the religions are against others? We all know, each and every religion insists on unconditional love. And they just dont encourage any sort of violence. They all want to direct people more towards supreme qualities.Only the deity's names are different. Then why all these quarells within religions?Anybody neutral can understand this fact.Whom do you think as getting politics into religion? Is it fair to do so?Please share!

It is a difficult question to answer, one I have struggled with. I believe that the source of conflict comes from misinterpretations of the scriptures. People interpret the scripture as saying that only their religion is right and so they see other religions as a threat to their own. They feel that all the other religions take away or compete with their religion so they must get rid of other religions to protect their own. I do not believe this is so, I believe we could all live in peace and harmony together if everyone wanted it but some people are too afraid to let down their gaurd and try to be nice to someone of another religion. It is sad. I believe religion was intended to be a source of love and unity but this is often not the case.

Of all these religions, only true Christianity teaches that you cannot save yourself and go to heaven. All of them teaches you that you have to do this and you have to do that and you have to be a good boy or girl and do not sin.
But in our own experience we do sin left and right since we are sinners right? No one can say he has not yet sin? This is the reason why Jesus came to save us from our sins since we cannot do so.
Some say they will be saved since God is merciful. That's true but that is only one part of the character of God. God in order to be truly God and good. is also just.
Let's say a judge suddenly release a convicted criminal like a murderer since he was just merciful. He won't be a good judge or even be what you call a good man since he could endanger other people by releasing a murderer without punishment.
Men's sins need to be punished by God since he is a just God as well. And Jesus paid for it on the cross so that you and I can have a chance to go to heaven. To those who do not accept this gift, they will forever be separated form God in Hell.

It is my firm belief that all religion teaches love only among its own followers. All talks of charity or helping the poor or caring for humanity are meant only for people of their own faith. For people of other faith, all religion teaches abuse and torture so that they convert. All religion considers itself to be the best and urges its followers to either preach or persecute people of other faith so that either they are killed or converted or relegated to the outer fringes of society where they enjoy very few benefits and life for them is very very difficult. But the moment they agree to convert, they are welcomed back to mainstream society with open arms. It has always been a game of how many followers does each team have, how much land, how much riches and so on and each team has always tried to usurp the other team’s territories and declare itself the winner.
