pickled food

i used to live in kentucky years ago. but i remember i used to get these hotdogs in a t were pickled. i loved them . they were really good with fritos and beer.but i live in ut now and trying to find food lik very hard to do. if there is anyone out there that knows of a place onls that kind of thing i woulglad if you could tell me about them. ok? thank you so much

I am not crazy about pickled foods but I enjoy them once in awhile. I like to
eat them sometimes on a salad bar. I guess I mgiht just make them once in a while if I get bored with eating regular vegetables. Pickled beets are OK and I enjoy those once in awhile. They are good.

I read on a magazine the procedure for making pickled vegetables like onions and cauliflower. I tried it and became quite an expert at it and always made them when there are plentiful harvests.
