When I was a little I had a fear of dying. The thing of it was I would think about death when I was trying to go to sleep at night. I had this great fear of nuclear armageddon putting an end to me and well, obliterating the planet. Maybe my parents shouldnt have forced me to watch the news every freakin night. " damn it Ginny, you are going to be the most well-informed child in 4th grade!!!! I had no special relations at that age, I thought Vietnam and Cuba were across Lake Erie. So, yea, I always laid there thinking the worst. Too bad I didnt turn out to be one of those goths that embraced death and it's images. Death to me is icky. And by no means do I embrace death. I never wanted to hurt myself or have had suicide thoughts whatsoever! Also, I had this Irish Catholic Aunt that just couldnt wait to die and join the lord. Um,yea,ok,uh, I like to make good use of my time down here first, thanks. So, if I wasnt thinking about nuclear holocaust, I thought about fun things like being buried alive or suffocating somehow or drowing. That's my biggest fear. Burning to death had always freaked me out too. Burning to death- party of zero, follow me this way please. What if you could laugh yourself to death? Thats how I want to go. I think I would like that when my time is near. Just laugh and laugh until you collapse, like pass out. I wouldnt want to go through the whole "not breathing" symptoms though. I dont want the freakin chest pain or trouble breathing. Just... Collapse. That's it 96yrs old laughing myself to death. Thats how I hope to go. So do you have a certain fear fo dying? If so share if not I have to give you credit anyways for sticking this out and reading it. Oh yea, by the way Happy Holidays... aint I jolly?!
