i am not much of a dog man. I do not keep any pets at home. Once I did keep a dog which i had got from the hills. it was a Indian shephard dog.It grtew into such a big and freocious dog that no one woudl dare to come near our house. It was so big and strong that it would literally drag my father. Unfortunately once it ate some rat poison which weas kept in some corner fo the hosue and died. i felt really bad and since then i have not kept a pet. Have you kept a dog at home? Which breed of dog have yo kept?

I think I would want either a Malamute or a Husky Wolf. As long they're relatively easy to take care of and gentle with children. I don't want a dog that I would have worry about take a bite out of my children's head.

Wow! Those are big dogs. It would help if you do a bit of research if they are indeed gentle with children but I think they can be trained. They are trained for sleigh rides, anyway, so I think you can train them to be friendly with your kids.

Our family dogs are chihuahua's. I've always liked chihuahua's more they are small and for the most part well behaved. They can be harder to train, but are very nice animals.

Yes I have a dog. I got him since he was a puppy and now he's almost two years old. He is terrier breed, I named him Pino. since we got him my family are happy. My mom are fond of him because his very cute and sweet too. He's part of our family and not just like a pet. He's liked a "bunso" (the youngest sibling) in our family.

I would keep a mongrel because this breed you don't have to cook anything fancy for him/her. Just feed her/him good and your house will be well protected.lol

My uncle had a german shepherd which was something like the one you mentioned. Very huge and powerful. But if i will keep a dog i will keep a shitzu, i think this breed is very cute and friendly with the owner of the dog. My friend has a shitzu which is white in color and is very very cute. And i personally like this breed. e happy and keep posting

I'm not so sure if it's a breed of dog but I really want to have an Alaskan Husky as a pet! I'm a dog person and I really, really want to have a dog but my mom won't let me because it's messy taking care of a pet. Once, when I was still a kid, I have a pet dog...he's a mixed breed but I had to leave him when I went to live in a far away place. I missed that dog!

I don't have a dog right now but I am looking into buying me a seberian husky puppy in the spring for I love wolves and that kind of dog reminds me of one. I love dogs alot and grew up with them as a kid now I want one of my own.

I've always had a mongrel. Pedigree dogs here are so expensive where I am. Anyways, I would like a retriever because they are playful and can give me a good exercise. Right now, the mongrel with me is a mini retriever (if something like that exists) and we always have fun wrestling with each other.

When I was little we had a dog. It was a German Shepard. His name was Hugo. He was very loyal to the family, but everyone who came around was scared of him. Unfortunately someone killed him. All the rest of the dogs have been sooners.
