Congrats!!! something special you bought for your lovely husband, the one truly needed by anyone for these days. Easy traveling to any unfamiliar location with that GPS guidance or having any duty excursion. I mean navigating to any address or point of interest. With its USB connectivity and direction commandment by Text-To-Speech, 2D & 3D Display. Me too, having one but I'm going to change to Garmin GPS product. Garmin has good reputation in GPS segment. PRO's AND CON's for GARMIN 350 Pro’s: 1. Incredibly easy to use - even for people unfamiliar with such gadgets 2. Incredibly cheap prices compared to similar brands and units 3. Great Company to deal with and fantastic and swift customer service if the need should arise 4. Very Solid product - Software and firmware well updated and bug / error free 5. Massive databases - locations / points of interest 8. Ultra Sensitive Chipset and GPS receiver 7. Very Bright and easy to read screen - great angles and better glare reduction then similar gps’s 8. Sleek and Minimalist design keeps your car looking clean and cool :P 9. Very quick and responsive - menus all load laser quick and changes are always real time without lag 10. Strong Text-To-Speech compared to others - voice sounds very clear and natural rather then robotic and error filled like most others 11. Routing engine very quick and responsive - near perfect routes chosen all the time, and more quickly then other brand will calculate them 12. The List Goes on, and on, and on…. Con’s: 1. Takes a while to fully power up 2. No route exclusion feature or easy way to remove certain undesired roads 3. Rare occasions may take moments to long to reroute when missing a turn 4. Saved Addresses sorted by closeness to current position with inability to sort by alphabetical 5. Route simulation slow with no fast forward functionality MY CONCLUSSION : It's a worth buying GPS product, fatmansmommy. Cheers.
