Well I see that you are only 19, and you say it'a a waste of time for you. You have to eat and unless you can afford to eat out everyday then someone will have to learn to cook. Your mother will not always be there. So what happens when she is gone, who will feed you. Cooking is fun and I think if you gave it a try you would like to be able to cook. What if you get married, men seem to think women should cook. So really it is a good thing, not a bad thing to learn to cook. Maybe go in and help mom, ask her who is going to feed you if something happens to her, tell her to teach you her secrets. She will love having you in the kitchen with her.

I love to cook and bake even if I am a boy. I love to try out new dishes. If you cook yourself then you are sure to make the food the way you want it to be. You don't have to complain to others if the salt or sugar is too less or more. Cooking is very enjoyable as well, specially when baking things. One dish I enjoy making are the pancakes, they are really easy to make and are very delicious as well. Well just try to go in the kitchen and try to make something new. here go to www.videojug.com and try making out the dishes which are listed there.

Hi flouya-how have you been doing in India? I just got back from Hongkong with a side trip to shenzen...wish I could make it to other parts of china...but expensive during holidays, maybe next time. You did not go home to china during the break? How is your English now? LOL, I thing it has improved but, since I am a teacher, I cant stop myself from saying this:
Do you like cook food? or actually -Do you like cooked food? is different from
Do you like to cook food?
I just want to see the message you have relayed in your sentence.
Do you like cooked food? would mean -one prefers to eat food bought from stores.or literally-one always prefers to eat food that have been cooked, not raw.
What your really meant in your question was-if one likes to cook food.
so with the use of -to- it changed the meaning.
well, the teacher in me will always be here...I hope I added info to your quest in learning to speak good english.
take care there in India.
