How will you know if your husband is lying with you???

I always caught my husband lying on me.. and his reason why his lying because,he just dont want me to be angry,thats why he prefer not to tell the truth.. now,tell me.. should i forgive him or not??? Today he ask a permission to me because he wants to attend there christmas party,which i let him attend,but i dont allow him to drink beer,i receive a text message from him,saying that his cellphone is on battery low,meaning there's no chance for me to call him and check if what time he will arrived to our home,since i have work at night so i cannot check if his going home early or late.. he can tell me that he went home early by 12 midnight but how will i know if its true,right??? so,have experienced this.. ??
