looking back at his performance it is fair to say that he is the next big thing this has been a year written gautam gambhir all over it he has scored against world class opponents and with amazing consistency he scored in australia in sri lanka where all indian big guns failed miserably, against australia in india and now england are at the receiving end from him this guy is the next wall of indian cricket wat do you say guys..

This year it was Gautam Gambhir all the way right from 20-20 tournament.He is on the verge of next big thing in Indian cricket.Hopefully he gets big companies who run the show to back him.He has been the most underrated Indian player.For example in the 20-20 tournament he scored around 270 runs a clear 90-100 runs more than next highest scorer but his name didnt figure in the ICC list of 20-20 player and yuvraj despite scoring around 100 less from gambhir got the award.Gambhir's 70 odd in a total of 150 around against Pakistan didnt hog the limelight.

yes i agree with u he has been the batting mainstay for india this past year being the highest run getter in australia ODI's, was just a few runs short of shaun marsh in IPL, reading run getter in tests against australia and now against england and not to forget he did really well in sri lanka as well where all others failed.

ya he is going to be the next big thing after these performance.We are having a good opener in our indian team.Even rohit sharma is good.But gambhir is taking the place of most important batsman in indian cricket after sachin and sehwag.Good going gambhir

Used my friend I am a firm believer that after the master blaster and viru, he is the only player with the calibre to hold huge records. He has everything it needs to be a good player. He has the temperament to play both format of the games. He even proved his worth in the 2020 format of the game. He score runs very quickly which proceeds the aggressive but also he is very keen in taking singles which is the best part of his game. He can literally steal runs from very good fielders on every side of the field which is very helpful against teams with good fielders. His scoring is all around the park which means he is not depending heavily on one particular side of the page to stop this makes more tough for the bowlers to bowl at him and containing in. All in all he is a very sound player. He already scored a lot of runs in every format of the game which along proves that he has the quality to get to that level where these batsmen.

gautam gambhir is proving to be in the stand of high caliber. this year i think is best for him . he scored more than 1000 runs in one day internationals and over 900 in test. and i think this century against England is the third in this year, earlier he scored an important century against Australia, which was fabulous. This innings also showed his temperament and ability to apt to situation.
