alright. so i just started a discussion under the interest "internet surfer".

i was surfing the internet and came across some pictures that i found funny.
so i thought, hmmmmm....let me share these with my myLot people.
so now look at the tags
i put "crazy funny stupid" and "whatever" but then somebody (there's only 2 responders at the time of this posting) put [b]"JOKE AS DISCUSSION" "VIOLATION" and "REPORTED"
i was just sharing something i found while surfing......does anybody see my DISCUSSION as a joke?
i wonder which one it was.

so i just checked out your other discussion and heres what i came up with ... the person who wrote that is stupid first of all.
heres what to do to avoid stuff like that. When starting a discussion make sure you put a question in it. Like i started one a while back that was a joke then talked about how it applies to real life.
so you could have put:
first pic - thats me in the morning - how about you?
second pic - haha wonder if it fell?
third pic - chicken head - haha do you have a dirty mind too?
and so on ... so now you are "discussing" the pics so its not a joke or a forward which is a vilotaion. I dont think the discussion you started is a violation but just to be sure next time be sure to put a few questions in there to be "discussed"

I totally agree with you and have done the same thing but I also know that there are a lot of people on here that just LOOK for discussions to report! Its pretty crappy but its the way it is.
Think about it how many times have you seen a recipe disucssion and we aren't supost to have them either! Theres a loop hole in every thing!

The discussion you linked to has been deleted... that IS stupid. I do wonder why people are so lame and have no lives that they would go around reporting something that was intended to make people laugh! Seriously lame. I can almost bet you those are the same people posting spam and other annoying things like posting the same discussion a dozen times. I guess those people were never loved enough as a child =P

and i agree somebody who found my SHARING A WEBSITE with my fellow myLotters as POSTING A JOKE AS A DISCUSSION even though there was not ONE joke in my discussion have some serious issues.

I guess people that go around REPORTING discussions with links or discussions that have a hint of humor are either lonely or have nothing better to do lol... this is supposed to be a site where you share things with others and have discussions as well. You can have a discussion about a joke at times just depends i suppose. Not everything has to be so serious some people just need to lighten up.

What a bunch of you know what. There used to be a few people whose only MyLot activity, it seemed, was to go around and report people for supposed violations, then write about it. I haven't seen many of those folks around lately, though.

Nope, not either one of your responders. The "reporter" didn't have the guts to show their mug on your discussion. The good thing is that it's still there. And, by the way, thanks for sharing.

I also had the same problem when someone posted a mature content tag to my discussion few weeks ago. I think its was also a wholesome discussion and i think its really hard to trace who posted that mature content tag. There is really nothing offensive about the discussion unless you see guys wearing pink as mature content. I think its really crazy or maybe someone is just really jealous. By the way here is the link below to the discussion if you like to check that tag. I guess when the tag is there, there would really be no way of removing it and it is even much harder to know who made the tag because we would not be able to know who made the tags.

mine was just a link to some funny pictures i found but apparently someone thought that was a joke, even though there was not one joke in the discussion.
