Well, This will be the first time that I'm unable to fully
celebrate Christmas since I'm unable to buy gifts for my
family and friends. I understand that Christmas is not only
about presents ,but for a person who loves to give is very hard to be broke.
My husband's mother died this past october ,and we had to be the
one's to cover all the expenses. We don't regret doing this because
we both loved her very much ,but it was a big sacrifice since we
are only a middle class family. Well next year will be a better time
since I believe is keeping a positive attitude regardless of the present
situation. I still consider myself a fortunate individual since I have a
wonderful family ,and my kids are okay with this situation since according
to them having parents like us is a great gift for them already.
I wish everyone reading this a wonderful Christmas full of love, peace, and
lots of blessings. Let's pray for a better World where everyone can live in
peace and harmony ,and maybe soon poverty can be only part of the past.

It is hard to not be down when we can't give presents. The only way I was able to give Christmas presents this year was because on every site I do, I saved my points, and everything else that I ended up "cashing" in. So I was able to have presents to give because of that. I truly hope your Christmas is enjoyable, and that this new year brings nothing but a year filled with bright promise.

I totally agree, main thing is love for your family members and we all are great full that we have our family and friends around.
For me its always the same for holidays, I don't spend too much. I try to buy very essential things as a gift, that way we can make a gift more valuable. It does not make much sense to me if someone is not using the gift and its lying down in the corner of the house.

Hi Mirita,Sometimes the smallest gifts are the best, and you will be together as a family and everyone don't have that. Keep that positive attitude about next year and all will work out. I wish you and your family a Christmas filled with happiness and I too hope and pray for world peace and an end to poverty. Blessings my friend.
