Hi Santa! You must be very busy now. All the children throughout the world are waiting for your blessings and gifts too. the jingling of the bells is ringing in their ears and their hopes and aspirations must be soaring high.....But Santa! the gifts!.. Santa, what will be the gifts for those American children whose parents have gone jobless? those American children who have lost their fathers in the Iraq wars? those children who have been orphaned in Iraq?!gifts for those starving children in Africa? what about those ill-fated children who have lost their father or mother or a brother or a sister in the cruel hands of terrorism in India,Pakistan and all over the world????? will all their gifts be the same?? can you not wipe away the tears of these thousands of innocent children as their gifts?? can you not create such a gift for mankind that will remove all terror, fear, slaughter and hatred from this world and replace it with love, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, understanding, tolerance and peace?!! can't this be the best Christmas gift this year???..... don't you think so my friends??

Hi titansaha, That is a wonderful thought and what a great gift that would be. While I don't think that Santa can create such a gift, I know that we as human beings could. It will require a lot of change in our way of thinking,it will mean getting over the thought that we all have to be the same, and accepting everyone for who they are. Just as one religion is not for everyone, and we HAVE to accept that fact, so the same form of government is not always right for everyone. The desire for Sameness is one of the biggest hurdles that we have to get over. I believe that a change in consciousness is coming to the world, but I'm afraid too that some people will fight it every step of the way. I hope that I am wrong in this and that tolerance, compassion and peace come about in the new year. Blessings my friend.
