Do you get sad when your away from your loved one?

I remember when I was in high school, there was this one girl I was dating ( an ex now thank God) had such a bad time that she would have to see me like every thirty minutes or so, there were even times she would run into the classroom just to see me for a second before going back to her class( which normally led to her getting into trouble unfortunately). I don't know if anyone else has ever had a bad thing as bad as that, but have you ever felt sad when your away from your loved one for a long period of time? What emotions do you start to feel? What is your persona or attidude like then?

As much as I like my girlfriend, I'm pretty content when she leaves. I don't get an overwhelming feeling of anything. I used to when we started dating but not so much anymore. As far as my attitude, I'm always laid back. It doesn't really matter what I am doing, always laid back.

I feel ya htere, I am somewhat the same way, but with me I guess I am like that because I don't want to think about it.

Hello luvandpower! Actually, I am in a long distance relationship right now. My husband is in Florida and I am here in the Philippines. We are married but then he had to go back to US because his visa was expired. It's really very hard to wait especially that you miss the person. I even felt weak and lonely everytime I thought about him. I got very lazy doing my housework and participating here in mylot because I can't concentrate and all I want to do is think about him.

Yea I know what you mean, it just feels like if that loved one is not there that the world around you does not matter anymore, then life just crumbles all around you , and you just don't want to do anything, because your worrying too much. Good luck with your husband returnign safely.

If my love was away from me, I would truly miss him so much and I guess my husband also feels the same, so whenever he goes out of town or country which always happen because of his work, he always call and send text messages every now and then... and would always tell me that he misses me and wants to go home...

Wow that is great to know! I wish more people were like that, you can never have to much loving as I like to say. I felt the same way for the girl...but she took it to a whole another level.
