Cats eaten as food in China (WARNING: Not for cat/kitten lovers!!!)

Earlier today, at Sankaku Complex (one of my new favorite sites I frequently go to as an anime otaku), I still remembered an article there that I couldn't get off of my mind, and so after a few minutes of searching for the link and finding it, what I saw just makes me want to not only run to the toilet and puke, but to also count my blessings of being an American, and not one of the Chinese.

(I swear to God, from one cat lover to another, that no matter what, even if it's an intentional cultural offense, if I run into any exotic dishes that are made with this, i'd run like hell in the opposite direction without looking back for a second. )
