Have you ever had a dream so bad it affected your mood most of the day?

Today I had a dream, it was really sad and it involved my youngest daughter. It was so real and I woke up crying and verry upset. I spent most of the day thinking of that dream and it made me really sad. I told my daughter about it and she laughed at me. she said it was just a dream. has that ever happened to you?

Yes I have had dreams like that. I have had dreams where I woke up crying from happiness, then sadness when I woke up and realized it was just a dream. I have woke up and been mad at my family because of what they did and didn't do in my dream. Dreams are so real to us when they are happening, it is sometimes hard to separate dreams from reality, even when you know its just a dream. I have had many dreams that I don't remember, then I have also had many dreams that I will never forget. I sometimes wish we could video tape our dreams so we could keep them and share some of them.

Yes, a video tape of our dreams would be helpful and interesting! I used to keep a dream journal but i stopped a while ago.

Hello ladybug. I hope that you are ok now. Well, I don't think much of the dream. I think that it is only a dream and won't influence my daily life and work. Anyway, I wish you to have more happy dreams with you. Good luck to my friend.

No, tho I once woke up so angry I went out and did something. Turned out the dream came true, but because of my reaction to the dream I wasn't angry so much as amused. However, my former roomie used to sometimes wake up angry at me. The last time I flat out told her, that "I don't know what you dreamed I did last night, but I didn't do it - get OVER it." She laughed then. I don't know if she ever had any more of those dreams, but I never suffered from any of them.

I don't usually remember my dreams and my moods would be something that depended on someone making me frustrated. That is the extent of my mood being affected. I can't remember a dream that affected my mood for the day. Cheers!!

yeah, i've had a dream that felt very real and made me think about it a lot and it affected my mood for that day and then some... dreams can be very powerful.. but i'm glad it was only a dream... but sometimes dreams can become reality.. so when you dream of something that's so life like and something that could actually happen.. it's usually pretty freaky... i don't like having dreams like that and luckily i don't have them too often.

Yes, I have had those dreams myself many times over the years. My Mother used to tell me an old superstition that if you told your dream to anybody before eating breakfast that it would come true. I have always remembered this and did not take any chance of it coming true. Those feelings from dreams that are so real stay with you afterward. I guess because it was such a vivid dream.
