I have received a few best responses. I didn't go back and thank the thread originator, because I was worried I would sound like I was bragging. Now I have noticed people thanking others for the BR. I am starting to thing I have boo-booed big time!!!
Do you always go back and thank people for giving you best response?

Not always do I thank a member for awarding me BR.
If I do it is usually through a PM if they are a friend.
I seldom thank them in the discussion though.

So Grandpa, do you usually do it in PM so it isn't like bragging in public? Just to be clear, I in NO WAY feel when I see other people thanking the thread starter that THEY are bragging... it is just how I am afraid others would view me. Is that stupidly paranoid?

Paula I guess i is this sense of bragging I fear.
I get a lot of them and do not want to waste their time or mine and others by thanking each one in a discussion. I actually do not thank them most times. Once in awhile I thank them in either form but not that often.

Nope. I don't even really check really. I pick a lot of people as best response for my discussions and they don't thank me personally. Everyone I've chosen for a best response is always welcome. I don't think that it's necessary to say thanks for that all the time. It should be a given that someone should be thankful when chosen as the best. Happy mylotting :)
