how many times have you seen him live?

I have seen Ozzy one time live, and that was enough. Don't get me wrong, I love Ozzy, but this time I didn't. I was stationed in Germany and he opened for Whitesnake. Jan. 25, 1983 Hemmerleinehalle, Nurnberg Germany. Whitesnake was on their "Saints and Sinners" Tour and Ozzy had just put out his double live album. I was signing along with Ozzy and I was like, this guy doesn't even know the words to his own songs. I didn;t know if he was drunk or what, and I was really dissapointed. Whitesnake was awesome! This was before they became big in the US. Most people know Whitesnake with their "Slide it In" (1984) cd. But you should check out their music before that, that had more of a blues sound to them. I recommend "Live In The Heart of the City", "Saints and Sinners" and "Ready and Willing". I still have the concert stub, but seeing I don't have 500 credits, I cant post it or upload it on mylot. I got to see Whitesnake later that year, Sept. 4, 1983 headline the Monster of Rock concert. Zeppelinfeld (aka Soldier Field), Nurnberg Germany. This show was outside and lasted all day and into the night. Other performers where, Blue Oyster Cult, Thin Lizzy (Farewell Tour), Motorhead, Saxon, Twisted Sister, Meatloaf and Survivor. Ozzy was also scheduled to perform, but at the last minute, Sharon gave birth to their oldest daughter and he cancelled. Keep Rockin! DJ Tom
