I have been married now for nearly 20 years and have four children, we all do chores. Even the almost 3 year old does chores. We all live here, we all contribute to the messes made and we all do our share in the cleanup.

either way you look at the specturm , someone has to do it , if not than your going to have a messy nasty house and get talked about around the neighborhood lol its marriag and for 1 that means you have to compromise and agree, spilt the chores up or do em together , much of a bonding experience

Yes, I think house chores should be equally divided among husband and wife. Like us, husband and wife, it depends on our mood if I got lazy it is my husband who does the laundry (by hands for we do not have a washing machine) cook food for us but he seldom clean the house so I am in charge of that and washing the dishes.

I do agree to your idea! Actually, my hubby and I are very busy every day, but most of housework are done by my hubby.I always address him "House-cooking-man".
