Hi MyLottian,
There have been some big HYIP sites that have disappeared on from the Internet lately leaving their with them investments from their members. I was thinking that instead of purely Scam? What are the chance of a closure of business? Now, another thing popped into my mind. Could there have been a raid by the local police causing the site to close down. If in the case of a raid, what happens to the money that has been recovered by the police? Government funding it becomes? Anyone care to comment?

Well... technically it is fairly easy to find the members who are involved in the HYIP business. I believe all HYIP operators will request for a withdrawal to their bank accounts from Alertpay or other processors. If the authorities of where Alertpay, the bank involved and the server used for hosting were registered in would like to launch an investigation, it will be a matter of days before they could reel in on the organization. It is because of the huge resources that have to be directed to make such an arrest that governments are reluctant to conduct raids. It is only a matter of whether they want to do it instead of "it is not possible to do so".

Investing $10 and get $100 back at the end of the month. Its 10 folds to your capital investment. Sounds too good to be true. I hope it really works for ya.
There have been many HYIP closing down lately. Maybe if there are one of two sites that have been forced to close due to raids or investigations. Maybe the reports may just indicate Ponzi scheme raid rather than naming the site where the business was operating on.
