Now I was making comments on some discussions by our fellow mylotters when some comments I notice is something like " do not answers this discussion because of mature in nature?" What is that? I do not understand? Why do some mylotters commented like that if they do not want to answer the discussion of their fellow mylotter.

I have also experienced the same thing too, i have posted a discussion about "guys wearing pink" and i think someone tagged it as mature content. Do you think there is something mature in the content of the topic? Its really sad to see people here being jealous of other what other people have here. My discussion acutally had lots of responses and someone maybe tagged it as mature content so that no one would respond to it anymore. I guess we could really not expect all people to be nice here, as we all say "you could never please everyone". I hope this does not happen to all of us.

My view on this people is that they do not have an open mind to just read and analyze the content of the discussion or topic being posted by our fellow mylotters. I think they do not respects the views of others.

I know what you mean. Because the discussion was not that of mature because it is about married life if we think we should share household chores, husband and wife. Maybe the person who will comment about this discussion make some obscene words that is why the system of mylot automatically put the mature content on the answer of this person but not actually on the topic posted.

it is not that they write something that is mature in content and they dont want you to respond to it,..... in your peofile and preference settings you have not checked the small box beside the change password input box to read mature content...once you do that then you will be able to read all the content on mylot.... there are some offensive language that sometimes need to be used in some discussions.... something that is not meant for children or teens speacially...but if you are an adult then you can go and check the box there in preferences and hence forth you will be able to see all the mature content too !!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Now I am bit getting the idea why that mature content was put by the system of mylot.

I had this problem and I know there is a place where you can choose mature subjects but I don't remember where. I hope someone else can help you.

I'm thinking that maybe you have the filter turned on here at mylot. You will need to update your preferences to change that.

I experienced that too so I have followed the advice of myklj999. Thanks for putting this into the discussion. I was wondering too what that meant but never asked about it. Thanks desiree.

because they have nothing better to do Desiree. They simply don't have anything better to do other than troll discussions and put incorrect tags and comments that have nothing to do with the topic posted. Personally if i feel that a discussion is not for me i simply go to another discussion! I won't post "do not answer this discussion because of mature nature" =P That is like saying to a friend don't talk to that person because i don't like them =P It is like grade school but on mylot lolz

Me too if I don't like the topic I look for something which interest me. I don't bother to comment which I think I will hurt the feeling of the person who posted the discussion. But I think I get the idea already it seems it is not the topic that was commented of a mature nature maybe the person who answer to that topic makes comments which is against already to the ettiquete of mylot so, it is the system of mylot who puts that mature nature to the answer of the person on that topic.
