I remember this because I still do not understand it. After Britney's Spears' performance at the 2007 MTV Awards, the popular criticism was that she was fat (!!). What is fat to YOU?

i totally agree with you here. i don't see britney as "fat" in that picture! if she's already fat in that, ouch! that would make me obese!

I knew someone would have this reaction. I think this criticism was largely led by the media. We ca not continue to let this define us for us, which is why I posted this topic. Celebrity-obsessed magazines and shows are constantly telling us what is wrong with our stars' bodies. They are not a good influence ; though, the lead commonality maybe more than anything. However, when I did a search before writing this topic, I came across where Britney called herself fat after this performance! Sadly, she stays in their grip, like so many others, like me.

Being fat is being a lot bigger for your age, height, and gender. unless it becomes a health problem, I don't really see anything bad against being fat. Being obese is being too fat, causing problems on your health. At least that's how I see it.
