I don't know if I have readers and sometimes I think that nobody reads my blogs at all. This is not a problem because I am just writing for myself. cheers!!

Its simple. Just post regularly on topics that interest you. But dont choose too many topics. Concentrate on a few particular topics and automatically people will visit your blog. Adding relevant widgets also helps to sustain readers.

Frequent updates. Content.
A lot of the details will depend on what kind of blog you're running. If it's special interest (i.e. one subject), finding new angles or new ideas is always good. Don't be afraid to do short posts with a link to somewhere else if you can't think of anything new, but always write around the link - explain a bit, give an opinion and so on.
If it's more of a journal, the question comes down to style and wit: if you're amusing, clever or write nicely, people tend to visit more regularly.
One other thought - if you have a good day and find several things to post, consider keeping one or two for tomorrow. You might not have anything new in the morning and it's better to post on a regular schedule.
