i agree he has gone down hill bad and i think he should just be taken off the air.. the more he slums the less respect people will have for him and with his spotty past he needs to be able to leave with a little respect left lol..

when he had his private practice in texas he was investigated several times for inappropriate something with patients.. of course since his show he has had the britney spears thing where he blabbed info/opinion about her (which i really dont think was that awful but im not a doc either) and then his show getting a girl that was jailed for assault out of jail for his show in florida.. and of course he made a lot of people pissed off because he isnt an doctor anymore since he never got his license renewed or in california so they think his show is misleading etc

My husband does not like him that much and even when I watch part of his show, I say what? How can people be that st*pid? I mean the things those people do like charge things and buy above their income, and not save any money and they are upper middle class - of course, you can see what programs I watch. I do think he is going into more sensationalism. I will stick with Rachel Ray, at least it has more variety and I can imagine how that food smells like at the end.

It is leaning that way.
So far they've got clean couples with dirty laundry being aired.
Sooner or later those clean couples are going to look dirty and the show will take a turn for the worst...or best, depending on how you look at it LOL

I know he changed his format. He is trying to stay fresh. I don't watch it often enough to say it is getting tacky. I think he is just trying to stay relevant. At least that is how it seem the few shows I have watched recently. Maybe he is trying too hard.

I haven't watched it in a while but honestly I'm not surprised if it is getting tacky. I'm sure his show can be a little redundant at times, which gets a little boring, so now they're trying to stir things up. Whatever gets more ratings. I just really hope he's not selling out. I really used to enjoy his show, and I need to start watching it again.
