I like to travel around. I have visited the Taj Mahal at India and the Eiffel Tower at Paris. I'm planning to visit US in the next year. How about you? Have you visited any of the world monuments?

Can you count Blackpool Tower or the Houses of Parliament as world monuments! But that is cheating I guess as they are both in my country, I went to see the Berlin Wall in Berlin naturally! There are lovely monuments and buildings in Prague too. There are lots of monuments in London my nearest city so I am quite fortunate to have London virtually on my doorstep. I plan to go to New Zealand one day but I guess there aren't any world monuments there, unless someone can prove me happily wrong!

I have only visited the Taj Mahal. It was so unbelievable; to see a place that attracts millions of visiors, a place that is all over websites and magazines and television. It was absolutely breathtaking. I would love to go to Paris one day to see the Eiffel Tower. I have been to Dubai and I've seen the Burj Al Arab, which was also mesmorizing. I would love to see the skyscraper there.

Well,I've been to Kremlin in Moscow but I wouldn't consider that so special cause that's where I came from. Been to Paris but never made it anywhere near Eiffel Tower. One of the wonders I would really like to see is the Pyramids, also Luxor and Karnac. What makes me sad though is that pretty much every day we see alarming news telling how many of the world's most interesting sites deteriorate because of peoples' eagerness to see them. The more people come, the more trash they bring and the more names they try to scratch etc.
We should be more careful to make sure our kids see what we saw and awed at.
