most of the women and also some men keep a diary with them where they jot down in it things or activities that they have for the day. i tried having one when i was in high school but haven't been religious in writing on my journal until i get tired of keeping on and have not tried it again. how about you, do you keep a diary? if you do, do you write on it everyday? what do you usually write, everything that transpired during the day or just the highest and the lowest moments of your life? please do share. happy mylotting!!

I don't do any journal, it is simply because I don't want to write stories about my self. However, I am fun writing my own financial records and any other stuffs related to business.:) You don't need to write your life on a book where as you can create a legacy and make others write your story, right?:)

LOL. actually I am not having a diary. I don't like somebody to know my whereabouts.. hahaha I mean my secret thing. Most people write their secret happenings in their diaries. That is why if some things happen their diaries are one of the evidences of how things are going with them. People's activities can be discovered through their diaries. Well, I just don't want to have that. I have no diary.

I have tried many times to have a journal, but like you I never wrote in it all the time. Most the time my problem was I never knew what to write so I wouldn't write in it.

I keep a diary along with and write in it usually when I am sad. I don't like sharing my feeling when I am feeling blue with anyone. The reason is I cannot help myself from crying at that time and feel very embarrassed after that. So i feel it's better that I write in a diary. I write at that time too when I am very happy and nobody is there to share that feeling so I just jot it down in the diary and tell my best friend later on. SO in a way diary is of great help to me. But I do take caution of not writing something too personal and if I have to I write it in codes...^_^

with what you have shared in here, i just realized that a diary can act like a friend too especially if you don't have someone to share your joys and pains too. but again it should be kept somewhere so that no one can have access to it. and i find it cool that you try to make codes out of what you have written so that others may not be able to decode it. thanks for sharing and have a great day!!!

hi my dearest buddies of my lotter, I have been writing dairy for the last ten years. Dairy has been my best friend and I share all my feelings with it. I write everything in it. I feel a lot relaxed when I write my dairy. I thoroughly enjoy penning my dairy for it has all the important events of my life in it. And , let me tell you I enjoy a lot only when I read my old dairies. Dairy is the only source that makes you understand the metamorphosis of you. Thank you guys and please make a habit of writing dairy atleast from this year. cheers!!!!!!

Yes! i do keep a dairy, since thirteen years old, when my childhood sweetheart gave it to me as christmas present, i then made a daily journal, but now as i grow older and older :) i just write my significant and important things that happened to me, when im sad, when i cried and when im happy. since thirteen years old i keep my yearly dairy, when i reach college, i change my dairy to my so called "journal notebook" where i write my emotions that i encountered in that day. and my first diary which my childhood sweetheart gave? I still have it and everytime i read it, i just smile and remincse those puppy love.

hi there. i do keep a sort of a prayer journal. it's a mix of a diary and my prayers. i write it down... sometimes, i flip through when i feel bad and see how God saw me through. it helps me feel better. when i was younger, i used to write a diary.. and start off with the cheesy, dear diary thingy... LOL... i think i still kept two of those and find it ridiculous to read old entries.. regarding crushes and stuff... LOL... have a great weekend friend.

I used to write in my diary all the time, but then it became less frequent. I guess I haven't written for a year now. :( SOmetimes I take to my diary when I want to remember important events like a birthday or a day when I received a prestigous award. It's not even a matter of having time to write, because I have a lot of time to write in my diary if I really want to. I don't know why I stopped actually. Maybe I'll continue again.

I used to have one, when I was younger. But now, I consider my organizer and my cellphone as my daily journal. When I was in High School, I had a diary and I wrote there everything that happened for a day, be it bad or good. I just had to stop doing so when I became a college student. I became so busy from school that time.

Whats the point of having a journal??? I don't see the point of keeping one or the strange attraction that many people have of writing the old and cheesy phrase of "Dear diary, today..." I see the journal/diary as a way of embarrassing your enemies or blackmailing them with.
