I am a Hindu so i dont know much about Christianity though i would love to know more about it. I know bible list 10 things u must do which are called Commandments.. I also know these are the list of 10 things which God gave to Moses on a mountain which are called ten statements or Decalogue. So i want to know which one of the ten is most holy or which one u think must be obey first?

Agrim 94, In catholic religion Ten Commandments must be obeyed, but i give weight to the 9th "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor".As a christian.. it is our moral obligation to live and speak for the truth, lying is the common offenses against the truth with an intention of deceaving surely a destructive to one's neighbor and in society.

i am also Hindu but work at a a Christian school. We start the day with religion( 30 min).Stories, songs from different religions (hindu, moslim, christian etc) we are open for all religions. the letter goes first than life, when people begin to fulfill the commandments. this grows very gradually in the overall.Only those who with the heart and the spirit of love fulfills the commandments emcompassing law willrecognize them and find the truth in the soul of every human being.

I presume you have seen the list so I won't repeat it. Basically the ten commandments are a standard by which all people should live. They were created when the world was really violent and lawless and have attempted to guide the moral conduct of Christians and Jews ever since. I think all of them are equally valid today and I can say I don't have a favourite one.

no they are 10 commandments that we must not do. it starts, "thou shalt not..." there is no favorite because it is what you are not to do.

Jesus answered this question when the Pharisees asked him and he answered, "To love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and to treat your neighbor as yourself." In this way these two things are the summation of the whole Torah, or the Book of Laws.
