Marriage, is it becoming an endagered species

Marriage today is now the underdog. More and more people are getting divorces or just choosing not to get married at all. Why do you think this is?

People today look at movies for their ideal picture of love versus their parents and grandparents. Movies never show the work that goes into making a marriage work.

Many people today don't have parents or grandparents that are still married. So they have no where else to looked for example of a good marriage but hollywood. I know my parents got divorced when i was four years old. And my grandparents are still married, but they hate each other. They stay married only because they are too old and poor to make it on their own. Hollywood was only place i have ever seen a good marrige. but you are right, they only show the good time. not the hard work that is involved. i just celebrted my fourth anaversary. it has been good and bad at times. and with hard work and love i hope to see my fiftith.
