Tebetan beliefs tell us that a spirit could be reincarnated many times until the time of complete judgement. One proofs is that seers do see traces of our previous life.
on the other hand if this is not true how could they be seeing images of others in us and at the same time be consistent with the same prediction of other seers?
what do you think?

In Hinduism too, the theory of Reincarnation exists. It is believed that the sins committed by a soul during each birth get accumulated and the soul takes rebirth to do good deeds and offset effect of these sins. As per Hinduism, the Jeevatma (Individual soul) is a part of the Parmatma (Supreme Soul) and its ultimate aim is to reunite with the Parmatma. In the cycle of lives and rebirths, the Jeevatma, reaches a stage when all he has accumulated are the Punya (Good deeds) and the need for taking rebirth cease. Thus the reunion with the Parmatma occurs. This carrying forward of Paapa(Bad Deeds) balance from birth to birth urges the human being to do less Paapa and concentrate on doing Punya only. This noble though gauds him to lead a pious life to the betterment of the Society.

Why I don't believe in reincarnation:
If there was such a thing, wouldn't we all be aware of it?
If this is our first carnation, where do we come from?
Who designed reincarnation?
What purpose does it serve?
Is the purpose being achieved?
Does it ever stop?
Who decided when it should stop?
