Do you want to carry a big or small handbag?

When I see "handbag" I think of a bag you carry in your hand, like a clutch, which would be so easy to drop or have stolen, so I guess I have a "shoulder bag". I have the smallest one I can get everything I need into. I wish I could carry a bigger one, but I have arthritis in my shoulder, plus my shoulders are narrow, so a big heavy bag would always slice off. To carry a clutch in the hand would be worse, though, as the arthritis in my hands and wrists is worse than my shoulder. I could not hold on to it well, even with a wrist strap. It would just ache. I guess it would be best to be able to carry a pouch on a belt, for comfort, but the "fanny packs" don't look so good. I really would like to find a good alternative that looks good too.

i want to bring a back which is of an average size, not too small and not too big, since I also have lots of stuffs in my bag... :)

i am not a small bag person. i bring a lot of things when i go out. my meds, my money, some toiletries, a face towel, keys, cellphone, a small notebook candies or mints. so if i bring a small bag it will look stuffed. but i am not a big bag person as well i dont like my things to be all over the bag and i will have a hard time looking for it. so i am a medium bag person but if i go to work i carry a big bag.

Neither! LOL I carry a medium sized handbag! I don't care for little handbags as it can never fit everything I want to bring with me, and I don't care for big handbags as their just too big for my liking. The medium sized handbags are just right for me.

hello youless well i think i perfer to carry a big handbag with me to go shopping.it's more easy and coinvence for everything goes into the big bag,hehe but sometimes i will choose my handbag which is suit for my dressing. or where will i am going to.it depends on a lot of different things,i think... yes...

actually i would not prefer to carry a handbag at all.... i mean why do you need a handbag in the first place? ok ok i know im a girl.... and i need a handbag and stuff but i still hate carrying anything than just a phone....which could be also stuffed in the pocket..... well there are these times of the month that you need to carry a handbag.... but then i carry a very small one.... i just dont understand why girls carry their entire wardrobe along with them.....? their cosmetics itslef occuly half of the bag...... i do put cosmetics but to the minimum.... or sometimes i dont put on anything.... i only put on a lipstick..... thats also cos sometimes i just look too pale..... and i dont keep re applying it too so i dont even need to carry that along..... but i have or rather i used to carry a medium sized handbag some years ago to office but then i realised soon enough that though i am carrying the handbag with so many things in it i never really get to put my hand in there to actually use anything..... so i stopped doing it..... now i have whatever i want right in the car .... :P easier that way !! as i told you earlier that its only that one time in the month that i would need to carry anything..... ofcourse parties are a different issue when you carry a matching handbag cos it just looks good..... :)

I try to carry large handbags except for to church or if I am going to a meeting or out to dinner and so on.Because normally I will have my daughter and grand daughter with me and they are always handing me stuff to put in my purse.When,I clean out my purse I find all sorts of junk.

I much prefer a smaller sized handbag, with a large bag I am just tempted to put way too much in it and it becomes heavy - or I can not find anything in it and it is a mess. eVen if it has a lot of pockets I forget which pocket is for which things.... it is less confusing and easier to carry a smaller bag with few necessary items.

I "like" carrying small bags because they're cute and pretty and light. However, I actually carry big handbags because I have a lot of things to bring. A small notebook for example wouldn't fit well with my wallet and with my other stuff :P Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I like to carry a small one or none at all but there are times when a large one is necessary to carry all the essential items one needs to get through the day.

hi, for handbag,both small and big one all useful, if i go to shopping ,i like to take a small handbag, it is good enough for me to inside all of things such as mobel and keys and ect.but if i am going to traveling, i like the big one,the reason i can everybody can be know clearly.lol

i rather use a big handbag because im the type of person who brings alot of things especially if i would not go home from work during lunch break. i just eat and stayed at the office. thats why its so appropriate for me to bring a big handbag.

I actually use shoulder bag. A pouch is not enough. I carry a bag with my umbrella, make up bag, sanitary bag, fan, pen case, shades, cellphones, wallet, prayer booklet, and one codal of any law subject inside it. When I am going to a mall I want to have a bigger bag because I want that if I can shop for a blouse or small stuff I don't have to carry another paper or plastic bag. I want that it can be contained inside my shoulder bag. Sometimes, I let my boyfriend carry it and most of the times he complained that my bag seems to contain a big stone. I just laugh. Hahahahaha!

Well usually I like to carry small handbags but I put a lot of things in it, just like you. I would bring a shoulder bag with me if I go sleep overs to my friend's house so that I can have some clothes and toiletries too.

I like to carry a large bag. I like to carry many things. All my bags I can wear over me so my hands are free.

actually what I carry is a tote and not a purse! I carry so much with me such as my planner, usually a magazine or book, we well and about everything except the kitchen sink LOL Sometimes I just take my wallet out when going to the store or somewhere like that. Marsha

I tend to carry a handbag which is at least big enough to contain my purse/wallet, mobile phone, lipstick and small hairbrush. Other than that, I try to co-ordinate handbags with outfits. If I happen to take a large handbag, somehow it will miraculously fill with junk. If I take a small handbag, then it will be fine.

well, it depends. I have several handbags,i like to use a big one when i hang out with my friends.A big handbag is more convenience than a small one.You can put many things into it and dont make it full.

I have big or small bags but I carry it depending on the match of my outfit. I wear small bag when Im at the party but when I will go to mall or outings I carry big bags .
