How many of us are giving homemade backed goods for holiday gifts rather than buying gifts for family, friends and co workers? I decided not to bake this year as the cost of things are so high, plus it is very time consuming. THne I started getting calls from close family and friends, saying "please don't buy us anything, jsut some of your fudge and christmas cookie would be great. My neighbor said they look forward to my gift of goodies all year! Then I found out that my sister sent an eamil to folks saying that I wasnt going to be baking this year.... and now People are begging for it. SO I decided to spend the money baking and buy less gifts... anyone else doing this too?

We actually did a secret santa at school. Aat first we were going to buy whomever a gift, but the idea arose that maybe food would be the better idea - it's cheaper, faster, and everyone likes food.
