what was ur biggest mistake in life till date

My biggest mistake is getting into financial mess with credit cards, loans, etc. Has happened several times during my lifetime, but now for family's sake I have given over financial control to spouse. She handles the bills and such, I still do the shopping and other related financial tasks, but she has the checkbook. Also, I have opted out from any credit card mailings.

I think my biggest mistake was spending money on people I deep down knew were only using me.
