Because of only one guitar that I have. I prefer guitar equip with standard tremolo bridge. Previously I used floyd rose bridge guitar but it was a hassle especially when changing strings. The fixed bridge equipped guitar is not to versatile since I like to play many types of genres. Guitar with standard tremolo can go between these situations.

That's why now I am using a fixed bridge guitar. But sometimes I also miss the floyd rose bridge...

I suppose it depends on the type of music. There are many Fender players who worship their instrument and don't really need a floyd rose for the music they play. I guess you like rock music since you mention dive bombs! Even in rock music there are many uses to a floyd rose though. It can be an excellent tool of expression when gently applied. Michael Lee Firkins for example has developed a totally unique tremolo bar style; he plays guitar like a slide guitar!

I actually play jazz too but I like to play rock. There's just more testosterone in rock...and ego ;p. Michael lee firkins keeps his pinky on the tremolo bar all the time that's why he's able to use the trem to great extent. I actually learned how to play a track of his called Runaway Train years ago.
