Hello Christmas is almost here and my friends and family have all bought me Christmas presents. But this this bad economy I have no money to buy anyone gifts I was only able to buy my brother and one of my friends a gift what should I do? I feel bad for taking gifts and giving nothing in return but i cant waste money i don't have. What is something you have gave to people in the past that cheap but thoughtful?

I know it is frustrating isn't it but I think that family and friends understand and will not think any less of you. If you are crafty in any way you might make something for them. Maybe a photo album of some good memories together or frame a picture that would be special to them. I made my brother some cd's of his favorite music and all my sister-in-laws some jewelry. maybe some cookies in a tin.(The dollar stores have some nice tins) I am sure they will appreciate any thing you do. I hope you have a nice holiday

how about coupons for your time such as washing his car or something. you could also give him a pie or a plate of cookies a month. there are lots of ideas if you put your mind to it. i make a lot of my own presents such as note paper and stuff like that.
what about spoons or pretzels dipped in chocolate? (the spoons are for coffee).
