Education????

I believe that education is a very important part of my life. It is one of my top priorities to finish college. I think that in order to find a decent job, one needs a college degree. I also think that the knowledge we learn from college can be applied to other aspects of our lives. I think that college is a very important step in determining my future and just how far I will go.

It's not that important to me. My jobs are quite different from what I learned in college. But it's a good experience in college.

Not only is it important to have a good education, it's just as important to have marketable skills. You don't want to graduate from college with some obscure degree that doesn't help you land a good job. I was laid off from my job last month and, since there are no opportunities for me right now, I am taking advantage of the situation and am in the process of trying to go back to college to finish my degree. I have been admitted but I don't know if I will be able to work out a class schedule I'll be happy with. The campus is about an hour away so I don't want to drive out there every day and would like to take a couple of online classes if I can. I'm doing a dual enrollment so that I will have two fields to get into once I graduate.

Often a good education is confused with a degree and a certificate. I know a certificate is important to land a job, but are you really educated if you have a good degree? i find many people with lofty degrees from renowned colleges, who are not as knowledgable as people with lesser degrees. Knowledge comes with reading. Those who read a lot,whether they have a degree or not, they have much better knowledge.
