what a small world che!wow great site to meet old friends then.in my case in never experience it yet but in friendster site i have many.i got shocked there with my old friends.AMAZING right?

Hi Che, Oh that is exciting. I am looking for the attached picture but I couldn't find it. anyway, I agree with you that friendster had helped a lot to many people finding their friends and relatives. It happened to me too, that i was able to connect my cousins whom I did not meet for many years. It's like almost 20 years? or maybe more than that. But because of friendster we were able to connect and we are now having updates of what we are into. so, I would say,this social sites are helping people a lot. Merry Christmas.

Sounds great che. My bestfriend and I have been communicating through friendster too. She is working in the US as a nurse and she's been there for years now. When I signed up at friendster, we exchanged messages there. I will be meeting her again in person next year when she comes home for a vacation. I'm so excited to see her again. That is nice. I did meet an old classmate last week at a restaurant we talked for a long time but we did not make any arrangements to meet. I enjoyed talking to her until she found out that I was older than she was and she made a comment that made her feel good to hear that. It was time for me to go then.

Yes, I met some of my old friends on friendster site as well, some of them are my childhood friends we used to play together when we were kids then my family moved to a far city that made us apart. Three years ago, when I joined friendster I tried to search for her name and what a luck I found her there that time her location that was put in her profile was Philippines, but she was actually in the UK and when I got here we get a chance to met each other in person. And it was fun talking about our childhood and how time flies and too many things happened in our lives. I am grateful with this kind of social sites, it's not just old friends that we can find or meet, we can make new friends from time to time as well and make a difference to some people's lives.

Hi che, nice to know that you met your old schoolmate after a separation of 8 years. It’s really great that she lives only 45 minutes drive from your place. Congrats for both of you and yours could have close contact easily very often after the first gathering that full of fun. Two of my friends have invited me to join the Facebook website where we could meet many old friends there as well few months back. I haven’t signed up as member yet for I’m scared that I don’t have extra time to care of it. Because before this I had signed up as member of a similar site but I haven’t attached any photos of mine as well as haven’t participated any activities there. I only visited the sites several times to enjoy watching the photos of my friends displayed there. I think the nature of this site is quite similar to that you mentioned above. Anyway it’s worth to join such website to have fun and meet with old friends if we have extra time. posting and Merry Christmas!

Yes... just this week... i was quite surprise to get a message in my friendster from gradeschool friend who i haven't seen for like 15 years... i gave her my cell # and ym name... and we chatted for like hours... catching up with what happened to us during the years that we had no communication... We are both busy with work and family so we plan to meet up like next year... when we have less things to do... this is why i love friendster...

So nice to know that you met your classmate after 8 years. I've been hearing from people they they met their schoolmates online with whom they were out of touch, but unfortunately I never met any. But yes, I did meet my college friend after 10 years, but it was not online. Actually she saw my brother in a restaurant where she had gone for dinner. She recognized him, took my contact number from him. I was thrilled to be in touch with her after so many years. Merry Christms and a Happy New Year!

Recently I have been visiting facebook a little bit more, I had added a few people who live in my area but none of them hardly spoke to me so being bored one day I decided to look at the groups. I typed the names of my old schools in and was really pleased when a group came up. I browsed through the members and came across a face that I recognised and it was a girl that i had been best friends with in primary school and I would have been about 7 or so. I got in touch with her and to my surprise she replied back and remembered me! We are now in touch through facebook and it is really nice.
