I have recently purchased an ipod classic and am finding it great.
I personally think it is one of the best ipods around.
The IPOD touch may have great apps and the touch feature is awesome but it doesnt have huge gigs (unless you buy 32gbs) which doesnt compare to 80, 120 or 250gbs which the classic range comes in.
Ipod Nano (No Offence to owners) is completely blown out of the water by the Classic.
The nano is in 2, 4, 8 and 16gbs which is small and the nanos screen is SOOOO small with rubbish video Quality.
I admit the small sleek design is great but everything else lacks.
The ipod shuffle is like comparing a Daihatsu minivan to a Ferrari F430 Spider, IT JUST DOESNT HAVE ANY COMPARISON
the Shuffle for one NO SCREEN!!!! you cant see what song its playing, its just far to small, alright it might be good for
excersising but basically nothing else!
Thanks for reading, leave a comment if you agree/disagree

I completely agree! The Classic is my favorite. The touch may be better when they are not so expensive and have bigger memories but I wouldn't buy one until my Classic refused to play anymore. I used to have a nano, which worked for awhile until I got tired of choosing between all my songs! I hated being told I didn't have enough space and had to find a few more songs that I would have to do without for awhile. As for the shuffle, some people don't listen to music as much as I do and it might work for them. My grandmother would probably like it as she is technology challenged and its simple enough to understand. It would never ever work for me though.

Good to see you like it, I want to buy one, but you know, it's too expensive for me, I am still a student, can't afford it.
Enjoy your iPod, enjoy yourself...

I think every iPod was designed for specific purposes which it fulfills wonderfully. There's no doubt about that. I personally have had a nano for awhile and am only now finding that I need much more space for all my music. I'm not so attracted to the touch design so a classic will hopefully be my next step.
