CRT or LCD monitor?

guys i am stuck with a thought that whether i should go with CRT monitor or a LCD monitor
i am a gamer and i use my pc mostly for gaming,watching movies and browsing for a little
i have heard that LCD screens dont work good for gaming like they are not good at supporting the graphics is it true that CRT monitors are better than the LCD ones for gaming??
but i find LCD monitors cool and sleek at design the quality is good but i dont know why there are thoughts like this

CRT is analog signal and LCD is digital signal.digital signal is better than analog signal and it is a trend that digital signal will be widely used in future.

i suggest you to go for tft monitor as it is the best and is like lcd monitor.

I would use LCD. The modern LCDs are pretty good for gaming, they have fast response times now, the last samsung LCD i bought had a 2ms response time, i'm not a gaming enthusiast, but I would think that 2ms response time will be decent enough.
with the response time issue out of the way, I think LCDs beats CRT in a lot more other aspects, like duty life, aesthetics, space foot print, clarity, sharpness etc.

I prefer to LCD monitor. It's not thrue that LCD monitor isn't good for gaming application. I use LCD monitor to play my games too. LCD monitor has a lower radiation than CRT monitor. It make your eyes more comfort when we are in front of our computer a whole day. And of course, LCD monitor consume power less than CRT monitor.
