How long did you wait to propose your love?

Well,It took me one and a half years to gain courage to propose my love to her.I was doing my college carrer then,attracted to her,thinking always of her but couldn't find the right time to propose.You have to understand,in India and in my native place,it is seen absurd to have love and if the girl is going to complain then you have to face seious consequences.So,I waited so long and finally let the cat out of the bag.Even then she denied my proposal,I felt thankful to her so that she was not creating a scene then.So,how long did you wait and was it worth that?Please share!

I propose when iam in college and she is preparing for enterance exam so you could understand that both studies & living closeby and she accepted mine offer and lateron she gone for studies to another place, unknown to me that time and later she have to married as per their parents selection. No regrets from myside as she atleast told me before about her action.

I proposed at 28 It just seemed the right time I did not want to marry when I was an old man but I did not want to get married when I was still in my prime. It all depends on who you are in love with and how old you are. If you ae gonna propose best of luck. :)
