Aww... I'm so jealous! I wanted to go on an African safari for my honeymoon... unfortunatly, the wedding expenses and moving into our first house together consumed all the finances so the honeymoon planning was put on hold.
What was it like living there? Did you ever take for granted the magnificent stuff around you, or does everyone appreciate the area they live in?

It was like a paradise on earth... Well i guess i did take it slightly for granted cause when we lived in Daresalam Mt.Kilimanjaro was just out side our window... and never bothered to climb it... but yeah i was a child then, so i possibly couldn't have... Sad that you missed it this time but you still could go on a second honeymoon with your wife... she would be on top of the world if you took her there... anyways thanks for the response... do let me know if you want any specific details....

I have visited Kenya and went on a safari to the Masai Mara and Lake Nakaru. It was excellent to see all the wild animals. We saw many elephants, lots of giraffes and zebras, a pair of lions, a leopard asleep in a tree, some rhinos and a few hippos in muddy water. It was superb to see the flamingos on the lake. It was fascinating to meet the Masai Mara tribe and see some of the tradition. It would be wonderful if I could go on another safari one day in the future. Tanzania sounds like a superb destination and it was great that you spent some time living there.
