Fed up of spending all my money to make nothing online, any ideas?

I've spent 8 years trying different techniques to make money online. From drop shipping, to e-commerce all have failed. I can create great content and decent websites but getting the constant traffic needed to sustain any kind of living is near on impossible. Does anybody out there have any ideas what I should try next? (and have actually got a viable income and not just trying to get referrals for your programs, that don't work)??
