hey, pals! we all send and receive messages through cellphones almost everyday.and because the capacity of the phone is limited, usually we have to delete some messages to make space for the new comings..but there are some special ones that i wouldn't like to delete..mainly they are from my brother and several good friends..some of them remind of me the happy time we spend together and some will make me feel loved by my family members...in all,i will recall the past life when reading this kinda messages long time later... so what about u? do u have some messages in ur phones that u never want to delete?

Since I use smartphone, so actually I can have unlimited SMS and contacts. However, I will still delete some SMS as everyday I will receive quite a lot of trash SMS. I don't want them to leave in my cellphone. I love China

My Nokia 6680 has got a pretty large memory for my inbox so there's really not much problem with messages but if i have to keep some messages, i guess it would be the messages coming from my past relationships. I still have the sms they have sent me when we were still friends. Some of them i never met yet during that time so i guess that makes it more meaningful because we didn't know in future that we'll be together.

Hello kunking Yes, there are messages in my phone that I store for many months. And those are sweet messages from my husband. He's not the classic romantic Romeo type of guy, but whenever he sends me those loving words, I greatly treasure them. So, I delete the messages that I receive from other people, especially if those messages are not that so important, to make space for my husband's sweet messages. Your question reminds me of my mother's inbox messages. They're so full that she's constantly reminded by her phone to delete some messages to make way for new ones. She likes to store those messages of wisdom that her niece always sends to her.

1. There are several messages from my twin daughters that I cannot delete. They're all in a folder. These are sweet nothings reminding me how sweet and lovely they are. 2. There is also a message from my favorite cousin reminding me of his "last wish" - sort of last will and testament. He made it a point not to delete it since I am the only one he told me such things. 3. I recently got a message from a friend which says "I wish i could show in my own little ways how happy I am that we are friends. It wasn't like years or centuries but you've shown me is enough for me to cherish you for a lifetime." The timing was perfect when I received that since i felt that it was my meltdown.

I make a point of deleting my messages once a week or so, except for a couple my sister has sent me. They are just very funny "pass it along" joke type messages. They still make me smile and I can't bring myself to delete them.

Also there is a congratulation message from my mom .she sent it the day i got my new job. I would preserve that for as long as possible... Thank u & happy mylotting

I have several messages locked in my phone... most of them are old friends new addresses... I saved them with the intent of updating my address book, but haven't done that yet so I simply refer to my phone when/if I need to send them something! I received ONE message from my sister in law - and I saved it! Partly b/c it's funny and partly b/c I was in shock that I got it from her (out of the blue)... it says she's gonna kick my booty (in not so nice terms)! lol I guess it all stemmed from a settlement my husband and his brother (who is her husband) had when they stopped doing business together.... I guess she doesn't like to see her husband have to use any of his money, when she could be spending it all by herself! lol Probably not a laughing matter, but it I couldn't help but laugh! Seriously, sending a sister-in-law a message like that for no reason? WOW! She must have been having a REALLY bad day! ;)
