Imagine it is Christmas morning. You are still asleep and you hear the children they have awaken and are in the living room going through all the things that Santa has brought them. You slowly get out the bed and make your way to the kitchen. The children are so excited they do not want any breakfast, you make you a cup of coffee and start your day. What are your plans for the rest of the day? Will you have family and friends over for Christmas Dinner?

Since our only son is grown and married, out on his own, we were planning on a quiet and peaceful day.. We were planning on sleeping late and going out for Christmas dinner.. Our son and his wife were planning on being here for Christmas Eve, but they changed their plans.. Now they are planning on being here for Christmas Day and we now have to do the grocery shopping and all of the cooking so we can feed them.. Bah Humbug!!! Oh well, they will be gone in time for my after dinner snooze on the couch, that is one tradition that can't be beat..

Christmas Eve will be spent at my house with my parents and hubby. We're going to have ham, mashed potatos, rolls, apple sauce and a vegtable for dinner. Christmas Day hubby is going to his sisters house to see his family and I'm going to my parents place to spend it with them. Nothing special really, just spend the day together which in essence, means a lot to us. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

this christmas, i'll be at school.. working. It's not a plan since the school made the schedule but i would really like to watch a movie wih my friends for the christmas morning after duty. Then i would help my mom prepare the dishes for our christmas eve. i miss the christmases where we used to celebrate the season together with my siblings and cousins. It was always a reunion..

hello Chevee, We're going to spend the rest of day with my family. My sister told me that our parents will bring us to Duty Free as a treat for all of us. They like to see the Airport in Clark and after that, we'll go buy some stuff for all of us. This is the first time that our parents will do to us. They live with our younger sister in Texas and they're coming home every two years. It's indeed a great experience to everyone for we seldom go to Clark. After that, my family and I will go back home. Need to rest for a day for it's time to go to work again. In short back to normal routine.

Have dinner with the family, hangout with some friends, greet my friends and family, especially give thanks to Jesus for he is the reason why we celebrate christmas and it is also a way to remember that because of him we recieve our salvation for that was the greatest gift of all....

We usually just stay home together as a family. Have simple meals and just enjoy each others company.

We are going to my brothers house for Christmas dinner this year. It will be the first year we do that, so I am not really sure how the morning or the rest of the day will go after that.

Christmas here will be a quiet and rather boring affair. Just the two of us, and a couple of tiny gifts under the tree. We have no friends in this town, and all of our family is over 1000 miles away. So, we'll sleep in late, get up when we wish, open our gifts to each other and then fix a small ham and sides that we plan to make. So its going to be very quiet here this year. I'm looking forward to next year when we will live closer and can celebrate with family.

On Christmas Day, we'll be spending it with my family at my sister's new house. Christmas and New Year's are the only 2 days in a year that the whole family is complete because we all have our own families now. My parents live in the province so they flew all the way to Manila to spend the holidays with us. The celebration will start at lunch and will go on until dinner. We do potluck so everyone can contribute. It's hard if only one will do the cooking and preparations. Then, there will be the usual giving of gifts. And since we all have kids now, we prepared games for the little ones and they get prizes. We adults will catch up on each other's lives.

Hi there Chevee! For Christmas eve, we will be having a special feast for dinner, and we will also exchange gifts. On Christmas day itself, we will be bringing the kids to Sampaguita Gardens and World of Fun so that the day will be really special for them. Just how it's meant to be.

When my children were little they would wake me up and tell me to get up, Santa has come, Santa has come, get up....hurry up!!! They were always so excited. Of course they just wanted to dive in right away and we let them after we got up and in the living room with them. Now they are grown and it is so quiet in the mornings. My daughter, her husband and our grandson leave their house after Santa gifts have been opened there and they get here in the afternoon and we open gifts here then eat. This year my son in law is working out of state and will not get home until around 1am on Christmas morning and will just have a couple of days home so it looks like, right now at least, that my daughter and grandson will be coming here on Sat. the 27th and will stay until after the new year and go back before he has to go back to school. Our son lives here so he will be here also.
