Are mylot webpages really heavier? I mean it takes a bit more time to open up...

I have always experianced this fact. Mylot webpages take w bit more to load than any other websites. Mylot homepage takes the highest time load and second highest time is taken when you submit a new discussion/response. Mylot pages doesn't have more images or videos than any other site but it takes more time. Do you people too face this problem? I use Mozilla Firefox.

I don't think it is that the pages are HTML heavy, but rather that the servers are too slow, probably because they are not mean't to handle this many people. Just a thought.

Yes I too think of the same. Most time I see "Waiting for... " on status bar of browser...

Really? I actually think Mylot is one of the fastest loading sites that I use & trust me.. I notice the difference on the slow internet that i'm stuck using. I also use Mozilla Firefox as well. Maybe clear out your cookies n' stuff? Shouldn't be too slow.

Even when submitting this comment I am facing a slow site. I have a broadband internet connection and other sites load fast. I have problem only with mylot....
