Yeah, if they stop working out their bodies get flabby. And if they used steroids they'll probably get smaller. If you look at a lot of old pro-wrestlers, they're nowhere near as big as they used to be. Just compare 80s Hulk Hogan to 2008 Hulk Hogan. Even Goldberg has gotten flabby.

I've often wondered this myself. Most still work out, but reduce their calorie intake and the amount of training slowly, so that they stay fit and just lose the immense muscle bulk. They also, I would imagine, train less for bulking up (i.e. huge weight, few reps) and more for stamina (i.e. smaller weight, many reps), so that the muscles alter slowly from big-and-huge to strong-and-svelt.
They convert some into small amounts of fat, like most people, and lose some naturally. It's kind of like 'warming down' after a workout, but over a long period of time. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a good example: he has stayed pretty big, but nowhere near as huge as when he was a professional bodybuilder.
If they just stopped and carried on eating the same, they'd probably turn into huge, shapeless blob-monsters. Hehehe!
