eating big without getting bigger?

hi guys!..i would just like to ask you guys out there.. coz' i have a friend who eats almost all the time.. she really has a big appetite.. but the problem is, she's not getting bigger or should i say fat.. she's still thin.. what could be the probable reason for this?.. does anyone know why?..

As has been said before, it is probably down to a good metabolism. Some people are able to burn those calories faster than others.

I would so love to have that problem. Unless she has a medical problem, it still all boils down to that basic equation. Calories in have to be more than calories out to gain weight. She is either not eating as much as you think or she is so active that she burns off a lot of calories. DH is the same way but he has a lot of nervous energy. Besides, exercising every day for about 40 minutes, he rarely if ever sits down. I have to fight with him to get him to even sit down for dinner. He'd rather stand and eat in the kitchen.

Some people have great metabolisms. They're ability to break down and get rid of waste is just superior. However, almost everyone with time loses their youthful metabolism, I'm sure she'll put on some weight in her later years to go with her age.
