that's pretty cool. does it require you to sell the rights to them completely?

No. You keep your rights. I made a dollar because that was the price I set. You can charge higher if you wish, but it's usually better to start out low then charge more as your stories gain popularity. But you'll want to make your cover snippet enticing to look at so that people will want to purchase.
My advice is to offer part of one story for free with a link that gets people going to your blog, and part so they can read the rest of it. Then put a second story, a story you think will likely sell up on Klatcher.
I've just started this recently, so we'll see how it goes. Klatcher is another option for writing sites if you're looking for new ones.

Hey, congratulations to you. It's always such a great feeling to sell work you created. Keep up the good work.

I have not heard of Klatcher though. Do they buy fiction only? Or do they accept other type of writing? Have you actually been paid by Klatcher, or is the money just in your account? I'm quite wary about joining new writing sites, coz I have been scammed before. They refused to pay me. But I managed to get my writing back, I was lucky. But quite interested to know more about Klatcher.

Wow, thats cool! Congrats, what is Klatcher? I have not heard of that site before I belong to quite a few writing sites, but some of them I have never heard of, so I am interested. Why was the pay so low? I know my first article I ever submitted I at least got 4.89 for!

Congratulations! Isn't it SUCH a great feeling when you sell something you wrote? Totally addictive. Maybe this is the start of your massively successful career as an author... and we were there to witness it. :)
