Can a cat and a mouse be friends? / myLot

Can this happen? I mean I just saw recently in new shows of Tom and Jerry and both are friends now and doing their jobs together. They fight their enemies together. Can this happen in reality?

i'm not really sure about that but i've actually seen a cat and a dog get along with each other. they're both owned by my aunt and i was really surprised to see that they even sleep beside each other. when one leaves, the other follows. it may sound crazy but i'm not lying just to have something to share. you might find that hard to believe but i think even the best rivals can get along as long as they try to and give it time.
