why Sachin Fails As A Captain Of India?

Those were turbulent days in Indian cricket. Many of the players who played under sachin, were later found guilty of underperforming for money. Names like Azhar, jadeja, prabhakar come back to memory when we talk of that era. poor sachin was in a no win situation. cannot see what other problem could have been there. Tendulkar is known to be a good mentor of youngsters & a good cricketing brain. Unsupporting team members could certainly be main reason. those days there was also lot of politics in terms of Mumbai vs rest of india players.

i think it depends on luck also,maximum matches of his as a captain did not end as a victory for indians but now theteam is doing well and they are attaining the unity which where absent at previous times. Dhoni is succeeding as a captain as he is united with everyone and his luck is on the top ofr the world now..even when not playing good he is winning the matches in his name..as captain. Sachins height betrayed his captaincy also and his luck did not gave him the side hand.

A captain has great amount of responsiblity on his shoulders.He has to place field on the right place and at the right time as well as take corrent discesions of bowling attack and how should it be rotated.I dont think Sachin is good in taking the right discesions at right time.Another important thing is the captain to try to win all the games with his performence but whenever he becomes the captain he fails to provide support to his team.This has been a weak point about Sachn Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar as a player perfoms very well instead of captain.Another point wich is against him as a captain is whenever he becomes the captain for India his team doesn't perform well and they loose the match.As Dhoni is the current Indian captain and is capable of aking correct discesions are right time, so its better for Sachin to stay as a player and help his team win.

i feel sachin is the person very soft when it comes to handle his own person and much command is missing when compared to our captains india produced and he lacks aggression as a captain on field to show to our captain
