Ok My brother is a cop. Well he found out that right after Christmas my uncle is going to be arrested for selling drugs. I would rather just not go to CHristmas dinner but my mom says I have to cause my Grandfather died this year and my Grandmother is sick so this could be her last Christmas. What are ya'll's thoughts on this?

My thoughts?? Bring the popcorn. this is coming from someone who had to endure her graduation party being the time that my cousin decided to let our whole family know that her step-father had been molesting her and that she was gay. I will never forget my graduation....and the reason has NOTHING to do with me.

It is said that Christmas and weddings can be major family dispute times, I think I would go for my Grandmother's sake but I maust admit family get togethers can be a worry at the best of times, sometimes I wonder if it is worth all the fuss but then we would have no nice memories either because there is always good ones in there as well.

I would go for the sake of your grandmother so you won't have any regrets however, if an arguement insues, get out of there and fast because you don't need to be caught up in it. There's nothing you can do to stop the arrest from happening and your brother has a right to uphold the law. Period. Go enjoy yourself and don't bring either subject up and hope and pray that all goes well BUT, if not then get out of there and quick.

I agree, you should go for your grandmother's sake and hope for the best. Your uncle's problems are not your responsibility nor are they your brother's responsibility. I hope there are no problems because of this situation but, if there are, try to stay out of it and let those involved deal with it.
